The pastor(s) and leadership will encourage and challenge you as a member. The purpose of this devoted partnership is not to join some club to where a person gets all of their needs met. The commitment to being a member of Newman is likened to being an owner of an establishment. It is a role of service as we jointly come together to care for fellow church attendees as well as those in our community, to take care of the church facilities and to use your talents & spiritual gifts to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed.

Expectations

• Salvation in Jesus Christ alone
• Commitment to growing and changing for Christ.
• Attendance – Sunday services, special gatherings, congregational meetings
• Participation required – voting on church ministry topics, budgets, etc.
• Giving to the church & sharing with fellow believers – thru tithes and offerings
• Service – using your talents, abilities, and God given gift(s) to serve those at our church and in
  our community. Growing to have an “I Will” life attitude.
